I love making homemade salad dressing and I can honestly say, there is no store bought dressing that compares to what you can make at home. And it's so easy! I also love that it gives you complete control of what goes into your dressing. Aside from a basic vinaigrette this is my go to dressing. Its so fresh and thick with just enough sweetness and it pairs well with a spring mix or spinach salad.
1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1/3 Cup Unsweetened Apple Sauce
2 Tablespoons Honey Dijon Mustard (Any brand you like)
2 Tablespoons of Sugar
2 - 3 Tablespoons of Water
Dash of Salt - Just to bring out the sweetness.
Add all ingredients into a jar and shake well until everything is mixed together. If the dressing is a little on the thick side, add an additional tablespoon of water. Didn't I tell you it was easy! :)
